This series of paintings was inspired by my mother. During my high school years, she was struggling to balance her roles as a mother, a wife, and a daughter. My grandfather was suffering from depression, and my grandmother was ill. At the same time, I was going through my college application process and needed her support. Witnessing her efforts to hold everything together deeply moved me, and this work reflects her quiet resilience and the weight of familial responsibility.
