Project Overview

ZQ Sports is a visual identity and website project for Zhongqi Pickleball Club. I designed the club’s visual identity and website, then built the site to bring its match coverage, learning content, equipment, and club merchandise into one experience.

Visual Identity

The identity pairs a circular club emblem with bold, textured lettering. Black, light grey, and yellow-green versions give the mark distinct expressions while keeping the same silhouette and typographic arrangement. The website carries this contrast into its large headings, fine rules, and bright accents.

Website Design

“Find Your Pace” introduces the site through oversized typography and an abstract court graphic. The page moves from global competitions to pickleball knowledge, paddle selection, and club merchandise. Alternating light, dark, and yellow-green sections give each part a clear place in the reading sequence.

Website Design Strategy

Website System Architecture

Website Details

The opening composition sets the pace with a split layout and court-inspired geometry. In the learning section, an editorial grid turns rules, technique, and terminology into individual articles that visitors can explore at their own pace.

Website Development

The website architecture separates content management from the public site. The operations team manages articles, products, prices, and purchase links through an invitation-only Chinese-language Strapi admin. Publishing triggers an Astro build using only published content; the generated site and media are hosted on Tencent Cloud COS and delivered to visitors in mainland China over HTTPS through EdgeOne CDN. The public site connects learning with purchasing: visitors can browse products directly or answer four questions in the paddle guide to receive three recommendations, refine their preferences, and continue to product details and ordering.
